Dr. Laura

Dr. Laura is a Virginia native, she grew up in Fredericksburg, VA and decided to move to Arlington, VA in December 2022. Dr. Laura is one of nine children so she has been around newborns and children since childhood. Her mother was a doula which allowed Dr. Laura to be involved in the world of pregnancy and motherhood for many years. She was familiar with chiropractic early on, as her parents were under the care of a local chiropractor, which is where her love for chiropractic began. She even began “adjusting” her family on the living room floor around the age of 12-13.

Since then, Dr. Laura has obtained her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Psychology from Florida Southern College and her Chiropractic Doctorate (D.C.) from Life University. In the interim between undergraduate and graduate school, Dr. Laura worked for a chiropractor in Tampa, FL. This is where her love for the profession really grew. She saw patients walk into the office in pain and walk out smiling. While in chiropractic school, she fell in love with pediatric and prenatal chiropractic and began recognizing the lack of education that surrounds pregnancy, postpartum, and pediatric care. Dr. Laura went on to work for Golden Gate Chiropractic in San Francisco, specializing in pregnancy, motherhood, and pediatric chiropractic care. She is extremely passionate about advocating for mothers and children because so much of a person’s future is determined by the wellbeing of pregnant mothers and the neurodevelopment of babies and children. She is determined to deliver a sense of safety within one’s own body and to provide her patients with the most evidence-based, scientific, neurophysiological chiropractic care the world has to offer. Dr. Laura is a member of ICPA and PX and is certified in Webster Technique.

Dr. Christian

Dr. Christian is a New York native who received his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Binghamton University and his Chiropractic Doctorate (D.C.) from Life University. Dr. Christian has been receiving chiropractic care since he was born. After a difficult pregnancy and a traumatic C-section birth, Dr. Christian’s uncle, Dr. Giovanni Mazzarelli, consistently provided chiropractic care, correcting the damage caused from the twisting and pulling on the neck involved in C-section births. This chiropractic care allowed Dr. Christian’s nervous system to heal and it allowed him to develop in an optimal, natural way. He contributes his healthy nervous system to this early and consistent chiropractic care during his developmental years.

This journey inspired him to become a chiropractor. However, it was only after meeting Dr. Laura that he realized that he wanted to specialize in pediatric and perinatal chiropractic, even though he had already personally experienced what many moms and children deal with after emergency C-section births. He understands how difficult and stressful pregnancy can be without proper education as well as how frustrating it is for both parents and children when a child is not developing or functioning optimally. From his own birth and developmental experience, Dr. Christian understands that the answer is evidence-based, neuro-focused chiropractic care and that is exactly what he prides himself on delivering to every person that walks through the door. After graduating from chiropractic school, he went on to work at Golden Gate Chiropractic in San Francisco, working with young professionals, athletes, moms, and kiddos. Dr. Christian is certified in Torque Release Technique (TRT) and Webster Technique, and is a member of the ICPA and PX.
